Sapphire window (UV to MIR)

Sapphire window is made of high-purity single-crystal alumina, featuring extreme hardness, superb thermal stability, and excellent chemical corrosion resistance.

It offers wide optical transmission from UV to mid-infrared, with outstanding mechanical strength, high scratch resistance and high melting point. Sapphire window performs reliably under high pressure, high temperature and harsh outdoor environments.

Widely used in laser equipment, infrared imaging, sensor protection, aerospace, vacuum viewports and industrial inspection systems. Custom dimensions, polishing grades and optical coatings are available upon request from Spectro Optics.
