Conic lens

Plano-convex axicon lenses feature a flat plane side paired with a conical curved surface, and their core specification is determined by the apex angle.

These conical optical elements are designed to reshape incident light into annular patterns. They can also generate quasi non-diffracting Bessel beams within the near-field range when illuminated by collimated Gaussian laser beams.

Matching axicons with spherical lenses enables parallel laser beams to be converted into hollow tubular light beams, as well as forming an annular focal spot for specialized optical applications.
